Learning About Landforms

We have been learning about the different landforms on Earth. We also have been learning how to find the main idea of a selection. So we read a book together about the different landforms. Then the children had to work with a partner and find the main idea and supporting details of a given page of text. They worked together fabulously to get the task done. I love having the kids work together so they can discuss their ideas. It really helps them think about the topic and share ideas that they themselves may not have thought of.
