Opinion Writing

We have been learning how to write opinion pieces. The children have been stating their opinion, giving three strong ideas to provide support and then ending with a concluding sentence. We have practiced this type of writing through whole group instruction and in small groups. The children even wrote this for a Tech Tuesday assignment. We also wrote a piece responding to literature that we have read. They are getting much stronger in their writing skills. I am very proud of them!
