The students learn how plants and animals depend on each other. They will BUZZ right along by taking a close look at pollination by bees and butterflies. The kiddos will also learn how animals help with seed dispersal. As a culminating activity, they will use the engineering design process to create their own vanilla plant pollinator to help Ben and Jerry's ice cream shops. They even dress the part by wearing soda hats and aprons.  I even pay my employees with ice cream!
