While reading this piece I couldn't keep from chuckling. I noticed some of the words that the author wrote were humorous. The idea of a dog eating a person's homework is just funny. The author was obviously trying to entertain us.
Well, I know every teacher has heard these words, but it actually happened to me. I had worked hours on my homework---30 to be exact. I had worked really, super duper hard. Then Mugs came right up to my desk and CHOMP! He must have been starving because within ten seconds my homework was just a mouthful of slobber!
